The story behind atresir
It all started while traveling. In every new city, the same story: you'd find a restaurant you loved on Google, but to book you had to call by phone. In another language, in a different time zone, not knowing if they understood your name.
Sometimes it worked. Other times, you just went somewhere else. And that restaurant lost a customer without even knowing it.
When we came back to Asturias and started paying attention to the local restaurants, we realized the problem wasn't just ours as customers. Restaurants suffered too: the phone rings during service, customers want to book outside business hours, notebooks fill up with illegible names.
"Booking by phone in 2026 makes no sense. Not for the customer, not for the restaurant."
That's how atresir was born. A reservation system designed for real restaurants, not franchise chains or luxury hotels. For the neighborhood grill, the cider house, the family restaurant that's been doing things right for years but still manages reservations like twenty years ago.
Our goal isn't to change how you work. It's to let your customers book easily and let you stop answering phone calls.
If it happens to us as customers, it happens to your customers too.
